2000 Series Technical Information

Should your 2000 Series heater have a fault the red light will flash on the big black switch. Please see the video above.

Count the number of times that the red light flashes as this will give you the error code. 2 flashes = Error code 2

Outer Case Removal Instructions

TOOLS REQUIRED

2.5mm
Hex Key

STEP 1

Position the heater on a stable workbench.

The outer case consists of two halves.

Locate the 4 hex bolts (yellow rectangle) as shown in the pic below.

This is the case that you need to remove by undoing the 2.5mm hex head bolts. (red circles) 22pcs total. DO NOT REMOVE THE 4 BOLTS IN THE YELLOW RECTANGLE.

STEP 2

With the 22 hex bolts now removed, gently remove the case from the main frame to allow you to reach in and disconnect the battery connection.

Once disconnected, you can put the case with the battery aside and out of the way.

Fuel Pump Replacement

Fuel Pump Replacement Instructions

Fuel pump replacement will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

TOOLS REQUIRED

2.5mm Hex Key

T25 Torx socket

Ratchet with 3” extension

Flat blade screwdriver

STEP 1

Position the heater on a stable workbench. The outer case consists of two halves.

circles) 22pcs total. DO NOT REMOVE THE 4 BOLTS IN THE YELLOW RECTANGLE.

STEP 2

With the 22 hex bolts now removed, gently remove the case from the main frame to allow you to reach in and disconnect the battery connection.

Once disconnected, you can put the case with the battery aside and out of the way.

STEP 3

Using the T25 Torx socket with ratchet and extension remove the fuel pump mounting bolt.

STEP 4

Remove the electric fuel pump plug using a small flat blade screwdriver to release the locking spring.

STEP 5

Refit the locking spring clip to the plug.

STEP 6

Remove the fuel lines from each end of the pump.

STEP 7

Remove the fuel pump from the rubber mounting. 

STEP 8

Fit new fuel pump to rubber mounting. Fuel flow as per picture above.

Orientate the electric plug to the back of the rubber mounting.

STEP 9

Connect fuel lines ensuring that they press all the way onto the barb and connect electric plug. When the electric plug is installed correctly you will feel the spring clip engage. This will ensure a secure fitting.

STEP 10

Install torx bolt to secure heating mounting. Make sure that you do not “pinch” any wires between the heater housing and fuel pump
mount when securing.

STEP 11 

Connect battery cable securely.

STEP 12

Finally, fit outer case to housing and secure with 22 x 2.5mm hex bolts.
